Maine State Police have arrested a man in connection to the death of his girlfriend in the town of Clifton. Department of Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says police charged 37-year-old Dwight Osgood Jr. with murder Tuesday in the death of 35-year-old Kary Dill. Dill was found shot to death in the couple's home on Airline Road Monday morning.

Syracuse police have arrested two teenagers in connection with the Dec. 19 killing of Asim Musa, a Sudanese immigrant, who was shot and killed while working behind the counter at Eddie’s Eagle Market on Oakwood Avenue. Troy Derby and Stanley Sawyer, both 18, of Syracuse, were charged with murder on Monday, police said.

Former Walmart Santa arrested after police find his children’s bodies buried in his yard

A man who previously worked as a Walmart Santa Claus has been arrested after police found bodies of his son and daughter buried in his backyard. Last Thursday, Georgia's Effingham County Sheriff’s deputies searched Elwyn Crocker’s home after receiving a tip that his 14-year-old daughter Mary Crocker was missing.
