Why People Confess to Crimes They Didn’t Commit

  It sounds impossible, right? Why would anyone ever confess to a crime they didn’t commit? Why sit in an interrogation room, look a detective in the eye, and say “Yeah, I did it”  - when you didn’t? Commack Man Seriously Injured in Stabbing

Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are investigating a stabbing that seriously injured a man in Commack last night. Police officers responded to 49 Walter Court after a 911 call reported an injured man inside his residence, at approximately 9:30 p.m. When officers arrived, they found a 30-year-old man with multiple stab wounds.
