Robredo and her co-respondents are facing a criminal complaint filed by the Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) concerning their alleged involvement in the “Ang Totoong Narcolist” videos.
Guevarra has already created a panel of prosecutors who will conduct the preliminary investigation of the complaint.
“The special panel of state prosecutors will start the preliminary investigation of this case very soon,” he told reporters.
“Subpoenas may be issued today,” he revealed.
In its complaint, the PNP-CIDG accused at 35 respondents of sedition, inciting to sedition, cyber libel, libel, estafa, harboring a criminal, and obstruction of justice.
